MerchGirl was cooked up by Josh and Murs after a few brief encounters at hip hop shows and through mutual acquaintances. Blaylock being a fan of Murs' music and Murs a hardcore comic book reader, it was only a matter of time. After a meeting just blocks away from GOLDEN APPLE comic shop on Melrose Ave, the beginnings of MerchGirl were born. And hey, who doesn't either have a crush on the merch girls of the world or dated someone in a band?

It took over TWO YEARS to put this entire package together, working with everyone's schedule, and laboring over details on every page, but the final result is something quite unlike anything we've seen or done before. Murs will drop this new album through Kickstarter.com, RECORD-LABEL-FREE, and the comic and music will not be sold seperately.
