Events update: August 28, 2009

There's not much else we like here more than a good party! Whether it's a weekend at a convention hanging with our readers and comic creator peers, or a few rounds with friends at the local corner bar or one of the popular sketch nights in Chicago, the Devil's Due Crew likes to get out and mix it up. Coming up are two events of note:

Windy City Comic-Con 2009
Sept 19 at the Center on Halsted
Chicago, IL

This is a GREAT show. The cats from the Around Comic podcast started this one-day, intimate show last year and it was a huge success. More Devil's Due artists than you can shake a Sharpie at will be there in full affect, and if all bodes well, we'll have a company booth there as well.

Sept. 17 and every Thursday thereafter

Devil's Due's buddy company PopCult is partnering with Entity Entertainment for this new weekly night near the Wicker Park neighborhood. More details to come soon! Not a specific comic theme but there will no doubt be a few pros and fellow readers hanging out and socializing - all are welcome.
