DEVIL'S DUE IS BACK

What has happened to bring this about? Many things, some simple, some very complex, but all moving in the right direction.

After over a year and a half of a stalemate, Devil's Due Publishing and its distributor have come to terms, and what was once a huge burden over the company's head has been lifted. Now, finally, the Devil's Due brand can focus on creating new projects and returning to the comic book world. Part of that mission - finishing its payment to creators left hanging in 2009, and continue that mission to help other talent that has been caught in similar situations from other companies.

After three years of negotiations and the willingness of our creative partners to work with us, hundreds of thousands of dollars have been removed from the balance sheet, and the business is ever closer to being free and clear.

Devil's Due Entertainment is here, but it's not your older brother's comic book publisher. In fact, we're not  a "publisher" at all. The NEW Devil's Due is an incubator of pop culture ideas - a "PopCultivator" - that brings together comic books, publishing, apparel, events, and creative consulting. On a case by case basis we cultivate ideas, many of which ARE comic books and graphic novels, but others are mobile apps, t-shirt releases, art gallery events, and collaborations with other creative companies and artists. Our common thread that ties everything together is the love of comic book art and stories, "geek" culture, all things cartoon and animation, and the overall sense of arrested development that lives in our hearts.

In 2012 it is the goal of the Devil's Due family of brands to release a line up of awesome projects, clean up the debris left behind from the previous couple of years, and to give back to the industry that helped nurture it through charitable endeavors. If you can get behind us and support the mission, we can make it happen.
